If solar power is not an option for long-term filming of projects, this cable allows you to use large external 12v or 9v DC batteries to hugely extend the runtime of your Odin.
Simply connect the cable to any 12v car, motorbike, or mobility battery, or even a 9V farming battery (battery must be purchased separately). The convertor will also accept any DC voltages from 7 - 20v so you can even connect 20v or 18v tool batteries, and even 18v solar panels if you wish.
Important note- As shown in pictures, do not use the internal battery if you are using this lead. The lead can be plugged directly into the power board. This is because Lithium batteries do not like being constantly charged over long periods, such as time lapses, and your battery could damaged.
Odin's power board has another small internal battery which will keep the time for approx 17hrs should there be any disruption in mains power supply, more than enough time to restart should your project have a power cut.
