When taking images under strong light sources - such as the sun, you can get the familiar 'flare' spots on your images. A lens hood can stop light coming into the lens at extreme angles and being reflected inside the lens.
Please note this hood is not suitable for our 120º angle lens as you will have "port holing" (vignetting) on the edges of your images. The hood is better suited for narrower lens, or telephoto lens.
